On the road with Presley
Steffl, Mozart and boiled beef for “Priskilla”
If you're going to make a detour to Vienna, then it should be worthwhile. After all, our capital city has a lot to offer and who knows that better than the original Viennese Richard Lugner.
That's why he wanted to show his star guest this year, Elvis ex Priscilla Presley, the cultural highlights away from the hustle and bustle of the Opera Ball - all within walking distance of her posh Grand Hotel, of course.
The first stop he had planned for "Priscilla", as Lugner affectionately calls her, was Vienna's most striking landmark in the heart of the city: St. Stephen's Cathedral. After a brief prayer, they continued on to "Austro-Graceland", the Mozart House.

Tafelspitz for refreshment
To round things off, the Plachutta family conducted a culinary symphony. After all, they have elevated boiled beef to a domestic cultural asset, which Presley did not allow to melt on his palate in Plachutta's Gasthaus zur Oper. The Elvis ex is a vegetarian. But of course she still found a delicious alternative.
And it was urgently needed, because she has to keep her strength up for the days ahead!
