A 21-year-old Tyrolean was in a particular hurry on Wednesday afternoon in Innsbruck! Two police officers observed how the driver had exceeded the speed limit several times. And was driving at 80 km/h in a 30 km/h zone. It was not his first offense in recent months.

The speeding driver was caught by two officers from the Innsbruck traffic inspection on Wednesday shortly after 4 pm. They saw the 21-year-old driver in Innsbruck as he turned into Dörrstraße from Schusterbergweg. He accelerated to such an extent that he reached a whopping 127 km/h. This was documented by video surveillance.

But it was not to be the only offense. Shortly afterwards, he turned into Josef-Wilberger-Straße - a 30 km/h zone. There he accelerated his vehicle again and reached a maximum speed of 80 km/h.

As a result, the driver's provisional driving license, which he had only had for a week, was confiscated on the spot.

The driver was then stopped and checked. "In the course of this, the driver's provisional driver's license, which he had only had again for a week, was confiscated on the spot," said the police. His driver's license had already been confiscated by officers from the Innsbruck traffic inspection in December. The reason: he was driving with drugs in his car. The 21-year-old will be charged.
