No trace after car theft

The State Office of Criminal Investigation is investigating at full speed - because on Thursday night a car worth several thousand euros was stolen in the city of Salzburg.

On the night of March 7, previously unknown perpetrators stole a car parked in the Gneis district. The exact circumstances of the crime are the subject of ongoing investigations. Above all, it is still unclear how the thieves were able to steal the car.

The damage caused amounts to a low five-digit euro sum.
