Last Thursday, refuse collection workers in Lower Austria made a terrible discovery. A skull and bones were discovered while emptying a container.

The investigation is already in full swing after the human remains were found in a transfer station. The bones are likely to be older and are thought to have been disposed of in a plastic bag in Kemmelbach.

There are currently no indications of a criminal offense, said police spokesman Stefan Loidl on Monday on request.
