Nokia brings Intel manager Hotard to the top

The Finnish telecom equipment supplier Nokia is bringing an Intel manager into the boardroom. Justin Hotard will take over from Pekka Lundmark, who has announced his resignation as CEO, from April, Nokia announced on Monday.

Hotard (on the right in the tweet) currently heads the Data Center & AI Group division at the US chip manufacturer. "He has a strong track record of accelerating the growth of technology companies," said Sari Baldauf, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors.

Hotard also has extensive expertise in the areas of AI and data centers, which are crucial for Nokia's future growth.
