Rossi’s Minnesota club wins in Toronto

The Minnesota Wild with Austria's Marco Rossi celebrated a 3-1 victory over the Toronto Maple Leafs in the North American professional ice hockey league NHL on Wednesday (local time). 

The 23-year-old from Vorarlberg remained scoreless in 16:41 minutes of ice time. Rossi's teammate Jared Spurgeon scored his 400th career NHL point with the 2-0 goal. The Wild were missing star forward Kirill Kaprisov, who is expected to miss at least another four weeks due to injury.

The Russian had already missed a dozen games recently. Minnesota won its first two games of a five-game away trip with the victory in Toronto and is currently the best away team in the league.
