Where boredom is a foreign word for children

Away from the slopes and ice rink, numerous excursion destinations and exciting activities in the south of Lower Austria entice children off the couch. Be it a hike with animals on the Hohe Wand, archery or disc golf in the Bucklige Welt or an exciting escape room just for kids. 

• For example, you can go on guided llama and alpaca tours or feed deer on the Hohe Wand.

• In Wiener Neustadt, the St. Peter an der Sperr Museum offers special children's tours.

• In Mödling, the Farbie Wunderwald delights young guests with a ninja course and interactive trampolines where you can find yourself in a live video game.

• The SCS has its own escape room just for the little ones.

There is also plenty to experience in the Bucklige Welt:

• In Hochneukirchen-Gschaidt, "Bogenschiaßn und Disc Golf in da Pampa" promises lots of fun.

• In Schwarzenbach, you can hike in the footsteps of the Celts on the Keltenberg and observe animals.

Baden offers something a little more unusual:

• The shooting club offers sport shooting with an air rifle.

• At the Arnulf Rainer Museum, kids can learn how to create their own mini-aquarium.
