Helpers attacked after collision in ski area

An unusual incident occurred on Saturday on the Tiefenbachferner in Sölden. Following a collision, one of the two people involved went crazy.

At around 1 p.m., a 56-year-old German skier and a 49-year-old Israeli skier collided at the exit of the Seiterkarbahn on the Tiefenbachferner. The Israeli was seriously injured.

Hit with a ski pole
The German and a companion wanted to help the injured man. A companion of the injured man then began to hit the two Germans with a ski pole. They suffered serious injuries to their faces as a result.
