On Advent Saturdays

Public transport in Salzburg costs nothing before Christmas

On the four Advent Saturdays this year, the use of all public transport in the city of Salzburg is free of charge. The campaign costs the city of Salzburg just under 100,000 euros. 

The promotion is valid on all four Advent Saturdays for all bus and train lines (local and long-distance services) of the Salzburg Transport Association from the start of service until the end of service.

Mayor Bernhard Auinger also announces: "There will be more promotions like this in future."
