The Krampus and Perchten season is a highlight of the cold season for many, but there are always reports of violence and criticism of the tradition. What does this tradition mean to you? Do you think it has changed - for the better or for the worse?

Krampus runs are deeply rooted in the culture, but reports of incidents of violence, such as beatings of spectators during the processions, repeatedly lead to criticism of the tradition. In addition, some people regret the change in the "Loavn" - the masks - from traditional designs to more modern, often less handcrafted styles.
