MLS play-off: Red Bulls win New York derby

The New York Red Bulls have won the city duel with New York City FC and are through to the final of the Eastern Conference in the Major Soccer League play-off.

The Red Bulls won the Hudson River Derby 2:0 on Saturday (local time). Hannes Wolf also bowed out of the title race with New York City FC. The Styrian (25), who moved from Mönchengladbach to the USA at the start of the year, played until the 74th minute.
