Driver beaten ready for hospital after overtaking maneuver

Wild scenes unfolded late on Friday afternoon in Höfen in the Tyrolean Außerfern: After a dangerous overtaking maneuver, two men got into a fight in a parking lot. In the course of the argument, the unknown road hog brutally attacked the other driver (55). The victim even had to be taken to hospital.

The violent altercation took place in the parking lot in Höfen at around 4.30 pm. This was preceded by "a dangerous overtaking maneuver by a previously unknown man in his car", reported the police.

In the end, the situation got completely out of hand.

The victim, a 55-year-old Bosnian, was hit several times in the face with his fist by the unknown man and, after falling to the ground, was further physically assaulted.

After the brutal attack, the attacker fled the scene. The Bosnian, however, suffered injuries from the blows. After first aid on site, he was taken to Reutte Hospital by ambulance.

Manhunt for the attacker
Unfortunately, the description of the perpetrator is rather poor. The fugitive was wearing black trousers and a red or orange jacket. He was driving a dark (dark red?) car. The police are hoping for possible witnesses.
