If you want to benefit from one of the various free vaccination campaigns, you should find out in detail beforehand. Otherwise it could be expensive, as the following case of a Viennese family shows. The costs were not reimbursed even after the fact. Why not?

Wilfried T. and his wife responded to the large-scale appeal for parents to have their children vaccinated against HPV (human papillomavirus) free of charge. "I took our two children to the family doctor, who unfortunately didn't have the vaccine in stock," explains the Viennese.
