A puss in boots stirs up a royal house

Advent at the Linz Landestheater is literally "fairytale-like", as the Kammerspiele presents the Christmas fairytale - a theatrical treat for families! This year it's "Puss in Boots" by Thomas Freyer. A young ensemble brings the Grimm classic to the stage in a turbulent, modern and imaginative way.

A poor Hans, a pretty princess and a tomcat who starts to talk. And then the cat puts on boots and has an ingenious plan: Grimm's classic "Puss in Boots" can be turned into a wonderful stage adventure.

Nele Neitzke stages the fairy tale "with a huge helping of theatrical tricks and magic, with exciting characters and great fun". As every year, she has worked together with young actors and actresses from Linz's Bruckner University. The premiere is on Sunday at the Kammerspiele in the Schauspielhaus.

Cheaper tickets for school classes
A special cooperation - the Spark(l)assenticket - is being offered again, whereby up to four tickets are free of charge for pupils in a class if they cannot easily afford to visit the Junges Theater as part of a school excursion.

By the way: "Puss in Boots" at the Landestheater is on the program until March 2025 and will not only be fun for children, but will also enchant adults. Fairy tales are known to keep you young ;-).
