Two second Salzburg players are out for Feyenoord

FC Red Bull Salzburg's squad is getting thinner and thinner. Ahead of Wednesday's Champions League match away to Feyenoord Rotterdam (9pm, live on Canal+), coach Pep Lijnders has three more absentees to contend with. The coach will have to get creative with his line-up.

The personnel situation at FC Red Bull Salzburg has worsened once again one day before the Champions League match at Feyenoord Rotterdam.

Head coach Pep Lijnders has to withdraw three important players in his home country. Mads Bidstrup and Stefan Bajcetic are suffering from a stomach bug and will not be able to make the trip to the Maas. Maurits Kjaergaard initially took part in the final training session, but had to pull out due to discomfort. 

It was already clear beforehand that vice-captain Amar Dedic (adductor), striker Fernando (thigh), new summer signing Takumu Kawamura (knee) and defender Bryan Okoh (thigh) would have to miss out due to injury.

Goalkeeper Alexander Schlager will also be missing as he is suspended after being sent off in the 2-0 defeat at home to Dinamo Zagreb.

It is still unclear whether the injured Lucas Gourna-Douath and Petar Ratkov will be fit to play in Rotterdam.

After three defeats in their first three games and a goal difference of 0:9, the Bulls will be looking to score in Rotterdam for the first time this season.
