Biker without a license races away from police in Eugendorf

A motorcyclist (21) gave police in Flachgau a wild chase on Monday. He sped through several villages in Eugendorf. The escape ended in a ditch. The man does not have a driver's license and his license plates were stolen.

On Monday evening, police officers tried to stop a motorcyclist on the Thalgauer Landesstraße in Thalgau. The unknown driver drove in the direction of Eugendorf and drove away from the police. He sped through the Eugendorf villages of Kraiwiesen, Reitberg and Aufeld. There was probably a crash in the area of the municipal road.

Police officers found the biker sitting in a ditch in the area of the Aufeld municipal road. The motorcycle was damaged. The 21-year-old man from Hallwang sustained undetermined injuries and was taken to Salzburg University Hospital.

A breathalyzer test showed that the man was not under the influence of alcohol. The man from Flachgau was unable to explain how the accident had happened. The motorcycle, which was not registered, had stolen license plates. In addition, the man from Hallwang does not have a driver's license. He will receive several charges.
