Just over a week before ski superstar Marcel Hirscher's comeback, the ski world is puzzling over the competitiveness of the Salzburg native, who will be competing for the Netherlands. His training times are said to be expandable - or is it just a bluff by the 35-year-old?

Marcel Hirscher also took part in the ÖSV internal qualification on the glacier in Sölden on Wednesday. His times remain a secret. However, it is said that he was unable to keep up with the fastest skiers.

Someone who raced against Hirscher in Sölden in the past few days tells the "Krone": "His times are not what you would imagine." Postscript: "However, it has also been the case in the past that he was never right at the front in training."

Feller: "He can still win races" 
 Everything is looking forward to Sölden, where the men's Ski World Cup starts on October 27. "I believe that Marcel can still win races," says slalom World Cup winner Manuel Feller in an interview with Eurosport. "He was the best of the best for years. I'm really looking forward to meeting him again."
