“Catastrophe”: Hoeneß settles accounts with Thomas Tuchel

Uli Hoeneß has once again made negative comments about Bayern's former coach Thomas Tuchel. At the "Leadership Summit", the honorary president is said to have told employees of the German record champions that Tuchel was a "catastrophe" for the club, according to German newspaper "Sport Bild". 

This was by no means the first time that Hoeneß had expressed his disapproval of the former Munich coach. In April, for example, the 72-year-old publicly criticized Tuchel. His accusation was that the coach was not promoting young players like Mathys Tel sufficiently. Criticism that Tuchel countered shortly afterwards.

It was already clear at the time that the Krumbach native would leave the club after the season, ending an eleven-year run of Bundesliga titles for FC Bayern. 

"Then the music will change again"
Even after Tuchel's departure in Munich, Hoeneß did not mince his words, adding: "If we play soccer again the way Bayern Munich actually can, and don't lose in Heidenheim and Hoffenheim after leading 2-0, then a different kind of music will be played again."

The honorary president certainly seems happy with the new tune, regularly singing the praises of new coach Vincent Kompany. "Now we're finally working hard again," says Hoeneß with satisfaction. And Tuchel? He has been team manager of the English national team since Wednesday ...
