Heartless: Cute puppies abandoned at a highway rest stop

Completely filthy, frightened and alone - this is how six puppies were found on a highway rest stop in Carinthia on Friday. The Animal Welfare Competence Center Carinthia is asking for support so that they can be nursed back to health.

"They are only a few weeks old and have already been through more in their short lives than any living creature should ever have to", the TiKo laments in a post on Facebook (see below). Because six adorable puppies were simply "dumped" in a cardboard box at a highway service station.

"The fight is not over yet"
They are now safe for the time being at the Animal Welfare Competence Center in Klagenfurt, "but the fight is not over yet." They urgently need medical care for their weakened bodies, need to be dewormed and need lots of love.

Anyone who wants to support the little fighters can donate now: just 15 euros will provide the first portions of food. 30 euros will cover the special care required and 50 euros will cover blood tests and analysis.
