GAK full-back Michael Lang had really made his mark on the Red Jackets' return with GAK's first goal as a neo-Bundesliga team, scoring a real dream goal against Salzburg (2:3). However, the Styrian was recently left out of the squad. And so it continues with Lang. In the test against Voitsberg, GAK recharged their batteries.

Good for self-confidence! The Graz derby against Sturm awaits Bundesliga bottom club GAK next week. The still winless bottom team recharged their batteries during the team break: In a test on Friday, second division side Voitsberg were defeated 6:2. Almost everyone played for the first division team - but Dressel, Filipovic, Vucic and Italiano were absent with injuries.

Written warning
Defender Michael Lang was also just an onlooker. He was removed from the squad for disciplinary reasons in the run-up to the last match against Austria. He will probably have to make friends with the stands in the near future. "He has received a written warning and has already donated part of his salary to a charitable organization," says sporting director Didi Elsneg. "In sporting terms, he now has to earn back his trust."
