Even before he could accept his honorary award at the "Bruno Gala" on Monday evening, Andreas Ulmer stopped by the krone.at microphone. When asked about the recent disappointing performances of his former club Red Bull Salzburg, the 38-year-old replied: "I think they need to get out of there as quickly as possible and start delivering results again."

For Ulmer himself, the soccer chapter is by no means over.

"I'm currently training, I'm working hard to make sure I'm fit and - as I've always emphasized in the past - I want to keep playing soccer," said the left-back, who is currently without a club.
