Car driver left biker lying on the road after crash

In Satteins (Vorarlberg) on Monday morning, a 63-year-old cyclist was hit by a small car and crashed. The man had to be taken to Feldkirch Regional Hospital. 

The accident occurred at around 8.25 am on Walgaustraße. The biker was just at the Satteins Chapel when he was suddenly hit by a car. The 63-year-old crashed and was left lying on the road with injuries of indeterminate severity - he subsequently had to be taken to Feldkirch Regional Hospital by ambulance.

However, the driver of the car didn't care much - instead of attending to the injured man, he stepped on the gas pedal and drove off. There is a good chance that he will be caught, as he lost the right-hand side mirror of his car (presumably a newer model Peugeot 308) in the crash.
