Well-attended Pink Ribbon kick-off in Vienna

Here we go again! The pink ribbon has been hoisted - a new year full of good deeds and events for the benefit of people with cancer is just around the corner. 

On International Breast Cancer Day, October 1, the 23rd Pink Ribbon campaign was launched at the Park Hyatt Hotel in Vienna. To let everyone know this, a fire engine was placed directly in front of the hotel entrance: A pink water hose in the typical ribbon shape was suspended high in the air. 

Monika Ballwein and Christine Marek provided musical highlights, while Birgit Fenderl guided supporters and friends of the charity through the successful evening. The entire audience was radiant in the color of the evening, creating attention and a stage for a topic that touches us all.
