Rothosen save a point after all

Dornbirn had their problems with Kuchl on Tuesday evening. The final score was 1:1, but for a long time it looked like a draw. Central defender Jovan Kacarevic then rescued a point for the Orie team.

After Dornbirn had won at Reichenau last weekend and returned to winning ways, the Rothosen had a follow-up game at home against Kuchl on the agenda yesterday evening.

And the Salzburg side caused the home side quite a few problems. Only the visitors were dangerous in the first half, but FCD goalkeeper Raphael Morscher stood his ground.

Kuchl then took the lead in the second half through a corner - Bachleitner dispatched the ball from the edge of the box (58'). 

Dornbirn then got into the game better and also had opportunities. And ten minutes before the end, they equalized - defender Jovan Kacarevic headed in from a corner to rescue a point for his team.

The home side pressed for the 2:1 in the final phase, and substitute Ben Brzaj had the winning goal on the plate in the last action before the final whistle - but the youngster missed, making the final score 1:1.
