The ground shook in Styria in the afternoon

Who felt it? On Tuesday afternoon, an earthquake shook the north of Styria. Although the quake only had a magnitude of 3.0, it was still clearly felt by residents in the epicenter north of Altaussee.

It was exactly 16.33 when the ground shook briefly in Styria on Tuesday afternoon: a noticeable earthquake occurred with an epicenter north of Altaussee (Liezen district). However, with a magnitude of 3.0 on the Richter scale, the localities got off lightly.

Presumably no damage
According to the Austrian Seismological Service (Geosphere Austria), the earthquake was clearly felt by the population, but damage to buildings is not to be expected with such light tremors.
