Graz woman run down on crosswalk

Serious traffic accident on Monday afternoon in Graz: a pedestrian was hit by a car on a pedestrian crossing and seriously injured.

The accident occurred at around 12.45 p.m. in the St. Leonhard district: a driver from Salzburg wanted to turn from Schillerstraße into Nibelungengasse. However, the 38-year-old probably overlooked a pedestrian who was crossing the crosswalk. The woman from Graz was thrown against the windshield and seriously injured. She was taken to the LKH University Hospital.
