Tractor overturns: 60-year-old dead!

A serious accident occurred on Wednesday evening in Leutschach in southern Styria: a farmer left the road and crashed down an embankment. All help came too late for the man (60).

For unknown reasons, the tractor driver from the Leibnitz district left the road at around 9 p.m. on a local road in the southern Styrian municipality of Leutschach. The man crashed his vehicle over the embankment there, according to a report by the Styrian Provincial Police Directorate.

The 60-year-old was caught under the tractor and suffered serious injuries as a result. He died at the scene of the accident. Rescue workers and members of the volunteer fire department were deployed.
