Protest committee lifts ban against Fabio Strauss

The protest committee of the Bundesliga has overturned the one-match ban imposed on Fabio Strauss of Blau-Weiß Linz following his red card in the championship match against Austria Klagenfurt on August 31. 

In accordance with FIFA and ÖFB regulations, the Bundesliga committees can overturn the mandatory suspension following a red card in cases of obvious errors. This procedure was applied in this case.

Strauss is therefore eligible to play again with immediate effect and can therefore play against LASK on Saturday.
