Car overturned – driver in hospital

Serious traffic accident on the Ennstalbundesstraße on Monday evening: a Hungarian driver left the road in his car, overturned and had to be flown to hospital by rescue helicopter.

The 22-year-old was driving his car on the B320 from Schladming towards Haus shortly before 9 p.m. on Monday. For unknown reasons, he left the road at kilometer 23.6. The car skidded around 200 meters across a meadow, overturned and came to a standstill in front of a stable. 

According to witness statements to the police, the Hungarian may have been traveling at excessive speed. The man was flown to Schwarzach (Sb) hospital by the Christophorus 14 rescue helicopter. According to the police, he was not under the influence of alcohol. The vehicle was probably totaled.
