Richard Lugner's widow Simone Lugner was involved in a car accident. She revealed to "Krone" that the crash fortunately had a minor outcome.

"I was on my way to an appointment and the navigation system was a bit confused by all the roadworks," Simone Lugner explained in an interview with "Krone", explaining how the fender bender had happened.

"Shaky and shocked"
She continued: "The actual route didn't work and so I drove on 'the wrong way' to turn around later. That's exactly what the sat nav wanted me to do anyway."

Then, "when there was no oncoming traffic, she put on the indicators and steered the BMW as far to the right as possible so that she could turn left," the 42-year-old continued. But that didn't happen, "because the driver behind me drove into my door".

But despite all the misfortune, Simone was lucky. "I was shaky and shocked afterwards," she revealed. But: "Nothing happened to anyone - but an accident is always tough. It wasn't until I got back to the office that I was able to calm down."

"Dream of my life"
Simone Lugner married Richard Lugner on June 1. After his death, "Bienchen", Mortar's nickname for his sixth wife, has so far only spoken out on Instagram.

There she wrote last week: "You were the dream of my life. And when I saw you beaming at the sight of me, I knew that I was yours too."
