Drunk drivers cause an accident with e-bikes

Two women from Eastern Styria caused an accident on their e-bikes on their way home from the Teichalm on Sunday. As they refused treatment by the Red Cross, the police took action.

The two women (36 and 34 years old) set off on their e-bikes from the Teichalm towards home at around 7.30 pm on Sunday. They both fell in the Fladnitz area and suffered minor injuries. They refused treatment by the Red Cross and continued on their journey.

Police officers finally found the two women at their home address at around 9 pm. The Weiz police station is now conducting further investigations into negligent bodily harm in road traffic and driving a vehicle under the influence of alcohol. Both women were reported to the public prosecutor's office and the district authority.
