Motorcyclist (33) crashed into a crash barrier

A 33-year-old man crashed his motorcycle in Landl (Liezen district) on Saturday afternoon for an unexplained reason and crashed into the crash barrier. He was seriously injured and had to be rescued by a rescue helicopter.

At around 12 noon, the 33-year-old from the district of Leoben was driving on the L 714 when the accident occurred. He was coming from Palfau in the direction of Großreifling when he crashed in a sharp left-hand bend for an as yet unexplained reason.

Biker seriously injured
The young motorcyclist crashed into the crash barrier and suffered serious injuries. The emergency services rushed to the scene and the Christophorus 17 helicopter also had to arrive. The injured man was taken to Graz University Hospital.
