German band Rammstein end their mega tour after 135 concerts in twelve countries. Six million people attended live shows in Klagenfurt, Dublin and Copenhagen - at times despite serious accusations against lead singer Till Lindemann.

Five days after the end of their tour, the rockers sent an emotional message to their fans. In it, they bid farewell to the stage for the time being and thanked all concertgoers for their support.

"It was an honor for us"
The Instagram post (see below) reads, among other things: "It was an honor to play for you guys, to be a part of these happy moments and shared joy. Thanks to you, we are a band that has rediscovered its joy in music and on stage. Every concert was a healing act for us. We thank you for that."

Abuse allegations didn't stop the band
Last year, allegations of abuse and sexual assault surfaced around Rammstein concerts.

Investigations closed
These were mainly directed at singer Till Lindemann (61), who always denied the allegations. Investigations by the public prosecutor revealed that no criminal acts could be proven against him. Lindemann, meanwhile, is enjoying his newfound happiness in love, having reportedly been flirting with a 43-year-old student named Joelle (20) for a few months.
