Extreme speeding through Linz at 129 km/h

The next car will probably be confiscated. A 33-year-old drove through the city of Linz at an unbelievable 129 km/h. His bad luck: the police were taking radar measurements in Urfahr and caught the irresponsible speeder. The man didn't even have his driver's license with him. 

On Sunday evening, the police had positioned themselves with their laser pistols at the city exit in Linz-Urfahr, on Leonfeldner Straße. At around 7.10 pm, they couldn't believe their eyes. A driver came along at a greatly increased speed.

75 km/h too fast
The laser measurement confirmed this. The 33-year-old from Kirchberg-Thening was measured at an incredible 129 km/h. As there is still a 50 km/h speed limit at this point, he was therefore 75 km/h too fast - his car will probably be taken away from him. This will be decided by the district administrative authority.

No driver's license on him
The speeding driver's license could not be taken from him, as he had left it at home. As a result, the man was charged with several offenses.
