Female moped rider collides head-on with car

It could have ended much worse! A 58-year-old woman from Moosbach was traveling in a car with a trailer and passengers from Lochen am See towards Aug when she suddenly collided with a 43-year-old female moped rider from Kirchberg near Mattighofen on a bend. Fortunately, the two-wheeler rider was only slightly injured. 

A moped rider (43) from Kirchberg near Mattighofen had a guardian angel. Early on Sunday afternoon, she was riding her moped from Aug to Scherschham when she suddenly collided head-on with the car of a 58-year-old woman from Moosbach on a bend. 

Fortunately only slightly injured
A couple from Munderfing (68 and 70 years old) were also in the car, with a trailer behind them. Despite the head-on collision, the moped driver only suffered minor injuries in the accident. The car driver and her two passengers were uninjured, the alcohol tests were negative. Both vehicles were slightly damaged.
