Motorcycle stuck under a guard rail

The summery Sunday attracted numerous motorcyclists on excursions, including a Styrian who was riding along the Weinebene Landesstraße towards St. Gertraud in the Lavanttal. After an accident, however, both had to go to hospital.

At Obergösel in the municipality of Frantschach-St. Gertraud, the front wheel of the 51-year-old's motorcycle slipped off in a left-hand bend, causing him and his pillion passenger (40) to fall off the bike.

The vehicle slid further and got stuck under a guard rail.

The driver and passenger sustained minor injuries and were able to take themselves to hospital. The Kamp fire department recovered the motorcycle, which was damaged.
