At the premiere of the film "Deadpool & Wolverine" in London, it wasn't the presence of the two former "Sexiest Men Alive" Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman that caused a stir, but their unusually ugly co-star, who is giving Disney's cuddly toy department nightmares.

"Peggy", who was named "Ugliest British Dog of the Year" in 2023, clearly stole the show from Reynolds and Jackman. She posed with her tongue hanging out in her "Dogpool" costume in the arms of Deadpool actor Reynolds. "Dogpool" is Deadpool's faithful companion.

The dog is a cross between a pug and a Chinese crested dog. Her trademark: A hairless body, a few shaggy hairs on her face and a grotesquely long tongue hanging out of the corner of her mouth.

Marketing department has nightmares
Reynolds had already introduced Peggy on social media in November 2023 and humorously remarked that she was giving Disney's plush marketing department nightmares. 

"Dogpool" is depicted as a terrier in the comics.

"Deadpool & Wolverine" is due to be released in Austrian cinemas on July 24, 2024 and fans can look forward to seeing how "Peggy" looks as "Dogpool" on the big screen.
