Barn went up in flames: Was it arson?

A fire in the Pitztal valley in Tyrol not only kept the fire department busy on Saturday, but also the police. A barn in a field near Arzl went up in flames. It could have been arson. 

The alarm was raised at around 4.30 pm. A small field barn with fresh hay was on fire on the so-called Blasbalgacker. Despite the rapid intervention of the fire department, the barn could not be saved - it burned down completely.

"The cause of the fire is still unknown. Arson cannot be ruled out," said the police in the evening. The investigation is ongoing. No one was injured as a result of the fire.
