The long tournament day in the grass mecca on Church Road is opened by Rufus the falcon, who chases away the pigeons. When dawn breaks and the first people queue up in the neighboring Wimbledon Park, it is quiet and deserted at the tennis facility on Church Road. Only one person is active, running lonely circles: Rufus. A falcon chasing away the pigeons that have made themselves comfortable on the grass overnight.
