Fuseini moves from Sturm Graz to Saint-Gilloise

Sturm Graz have extended the loan contract with goalkeeper Kjell Scherpen until summer 2025!

The Dutchman was out for the entire spring after suffering a cruciate ligament rupture last fall and is now about to return to team training. A further commitment has now been negotiated with his regular club Brighton, as the champions announced.

This performance and willingness cannot be overestimated and deserves the utmost respect," recalled Sturm's sporting director Andreas Schicker. The 2.06-meter man is now set to take over in goal again after Sturm successfully relied on Liverpool loanee Vitezslav Jaros in the spring. The Czech returned to England.

Meanwhile, the Graz-based club has handed Mohammed Fuseini, who was most recently on loan, to Union Saint-Gilloise. He is going to the Belgian runners-up for a rumored transfer fee of one million euros. The Austrian champions announced that they had agreed not to disclose the details of the deal. The 22-year-old attacker from Ghana has been playing for Danish club Randers for the past six months. Graz signed Fuseini from his home country at the start of 2022.
