Innsbruck Airport offers new connection

Innsbruck Airport can look forward to a new service in its flight schedule. The Polish capital Warsaw will be connected to the Tyrolean capital with a direct flight next winter. 

The scheduled flights operated by LOT Polish Airlines will take place every Friday between the end of November and the end of March, according to a press release from the airport. In addition to those responsible for the airport, tourism is also pleased with the new service. "Polish guests who want to spend their winter vacation in Tyrol finally have the opportunity to fly non-stop to Innsbruck."

"Important market of origin"
Poland is an "important market of origin" for Tyrol and is among the top 10. Based on the entire tourism year 2023, Poland was responsible for around 700,000 overnight stays throughout Tyrol.

Innsbruck Airport has been working together with Tyrolean tourism for some time to establish a direct flight connection for Polish guests.

At the same time, the new flight connection would also give all Tyroleans the opportunity to visit the Polish capital Warsaw or to transfer to the global route network of LOT Polish Airlines via Warsaw, it was said.
