Minichmayr rows to European Championship gold

Tabea Minichmayr from Salzburg has done it - she has won the title at the European Coastal Rowing Championships in Gdansk, Poland! She gave her Portuguese opponent Patricia Batista no chance in the final.

Tabea Minichmayr won the gold medal in the new Olympic discipline for Los Angeles 2028 at the European Coastal Rowing Championships on Sunday.

The athlete from Möve Salzburg won the A final in Gdansk (Gdansk/Poland) by 16.31 seconds ahead of Portugal's Patricia Batista.

Katharina Lobnig won the mixed double sculls with Britain's Charles Cousins for the Mumbles Rowing Club.
