Sylvie Meis wishes her ex a “Happy Divorce Day”

The divorce of model Sylvie Meis and artist Niclas Castello is official. A reason to celebrate for the blonde beauty and her ex.

Meis wished her ex-husband a "Happy Divorce Day" on Instagram on Monday and thanked him for the fact that they are still friends. "How wonderful to still have a friend in you." 

Wedding in Florence
Her message was completed with a beautiful black and white photo of their wedding, in which they are lovingly snuggled up together on "Groom" and "Bride" armchairs. According to the German media, the divorce was finalized in less than half an hour at the family court in Hamburg on Monday. Meis and the artist Castello got married in Florence in 2020.

"Wonderful time"
The presenter's fans reacted enthusiastically to the post. "Hahaha", "yeah", "I love this", they wrote in the 46-year-old's comments. 

Meis and Castello split up in February 2023 "with a heavy heart", as they explained at the time. "We look back on very happy times, but we have to recognize that our life situations are too different for a future together."

The presenter was married to footballer Rafael van der Vaart from 2005 to 2013. They have a son together, Damián
