Because he wanted more money: Man went on the rampage in the asylum home

Because there was no extra money for him, a refugee smashed the windows of an asylum home with his bare hands and threw glasses at passers-by. The Lower Austrian police had to be called out.

A refugee in a shelter in Waidhofen an der Ybbs had probably imagined it would be a little easier. He had decided to fly back to Turkey the next day. But he needed some extra money to do so. His application was rejected, however, as the daily allowance had already been paid out. An answer the man did not want to hear.

"I'll do something bad"
He ranted like a madman and threatened to do something "bad" to the carers. He followed up his words with actions. He smashed windows with his bare fists and threw broken glass out of the window towards passers-by. He sustained minor injuries himself and the police intervened.

Meanwhile, a refugee in Horn caused a somewhat more curious intervention by the police. The Afghan, who made an extremely confused impression, incurred the displeasure of other residents by ringing all the doors during the night. He also violated the smoking ban and prepared food directly on the hob.
