270 Real fans actually wanted to support their team in the Champions League final against Borussia Dortmund at Wembley Stadium in London on Saturday evening. But the soccer dream turned into an airport nightmare. 

Dramatic scenes at Madrid-Barajas Airport! 270 Real fans were apparently victims of fraud and will therefore miss the Champions League final in London, as reported by "AS". According to the report, the Madrilenians did not receive a valid flight ticket.

The trip was organized by a Real Madrid fan club, which booked a flight through a travel agency. The fans paid 1,095 euros for the return flight. The flight was due to land in London at 7 a.m. on Saturday.

"Maintenance problems" as the reason
From there, the Madrid fans would have been taken to Wembley in a coach. But the plane never took off. "The travel agency informed us yesterday, around five o'clock in the afternoon, that the plane could not fly due to a maintenance problem", explained Nabil Alturek Arnaiz, president of the fan club, to "Revelo". No further details were given. 

Spanish media are talking about a scam. In the end, 16 fans were able to book another flight. The remaining supporters of the "royals" were apparently less fortunate and were stranded in Madrid.
