Retirement: New police officers for Carinthia

A big ceremony was held on Wednesday, May 29, on the grounds of the police barracks in Krumpendorf: Retirement!

82 police officers have completed their basic training in Carinthia, 47 have completed their training as officers in charge. On Wednesday, the decommissioning ceremony was held at the barracks in Krumpendorf.

Three basic police training courses and one course for officers were completed. 

Franz Ruf, Director General for Public Security, also attended the ceremony. He thanked all graduates for deciding to become a police officer: "You are ensuring the safety and protection of people. A wonderful and fulfilling job!"

State Police Director Michaela Kohlweiß is also delighted with the new recruits. Governor Peter Kaiser, military commander Brigadier Philipp Eder, provincial court president Bernd Lutschounig, the head of the public prosecutor's office Josef Haißl, deputy provincial fire service commander Dietmar Hirm, district governor Johannes Leitner and civil defense association president Rudolf Schober also joined in the celebrations.
