Olympic champion Kamil Stoch is not hanging up his skis after all. The 36-year-old Pole wants to attack again in the coming World Championship winter. The Polish Ski Association has now given Stoch the green light for his project with a private coach.

After a disappointing season without any podium finishes in the World Cup, many fans speculated that Kamil Stoch would retire. However, the three-time Olympic ski jumping champion wants to give it another go. He wants to get back on the road to success with a new coach. The big goal is the Nordic World Ski Championships in Trondheim.

The Polish Ski Association has given Stoch the green light for his project with a private coach. According to the Polish platform sport.pl , Michal Dolezal is to coach the 36-year-old high-flyer. The former Czech ski jumper most recently worked as a co-coach for the German national team.

Thurnbichler stays in Poland
Poland's ski association has not yet announced any squad nominations for the upcoming World Championship winter. What is certain is that Tyrolean Thomas Thurnbichler will continue to work as head coach in Poland.
