Witnesses are wanted

Speeding driver caused accident and hit and run

On Saturday evening, two cars collided on Südbahnstraße in Leoben. The driver of a black vehicle committed a hit-and-run. The passenger in the vehicle involved was injured. Witnesses are requested.

At around 8.45 p.m., a 19-year-old woman, resident in the district of Bruck-Mürzzuschlag, was driving along Südbahnstraße in the direction of the train station. A previously unknown driver approached the 19-year-old in his car. The unknown driver probably lost control of his vehicle on a right-hand bend and hit the 19-year-old's car.

Driving too fast
According to witnesses, the vehicle was traveling at far too high a speed. The 19-year-old pulled her vehicle over to the right-hand side of the road, but was unable to prevent a collision.

A 19-year-old woman from Leoben who was traveling in the vehicle was injured to an undetermined degree in the accident. She went to the LKH Leoben on her own.

Information from witnesses requested
Witnesses to the accident stated that the vehicle was a black Audi or BMW sedan. The car should have had damage to the left wing mirror and the left front bumper.
