GAK eleven points ahead after victory against St. Pölten

GAK have restored their old lead over SV Ried in the 2nd Football League. The leaders celebrated a 3:1 home win over SKN St. Pölten at the end of the 24th round on Sunday and are now eleven points ahead of the team from the Innviertel region, who won 2:0 at SV Horn on Friday. The Styrians thus secured another full success after a draw and a defeat recently. 

It was the third defeat in a row for the Lower Austrians.

SKN took the lead in the first minute through Rio Nitta, but Graz equalized in the 20th minute through Christian Lichtenberger. Headers from Thorsten Schriebl (77') and Milos Jovicic (88'), both from corners, decided the game.
