Sturm vs. Rapid: The police are once again on high alert for Friday's Bundesliga match in Graz, which has been sold out for weeks. By decree, a security zone will be imposed for several hours around the Merkur Arena as the venue.

The zone is valid from 3.30 pm to 11.30 pm. During this time, public security officers within the zone can turn away persons who commit or have committed dangerous acts against life, health or property in connection with a major sporting event. At the same time, they are prohibited from entering the security area.
Persons who enter the security area at this major sporting event despite a ban on entry are committing an administrative offense and may be punished with a fine of up to EUR 1,000 or, if the fine cannot be collected, with a substitute custodial sentence of up to 4 weeks. If the persons persist in continuing their offense despite a warning, they may be arrested.
